    The South Asian region usually refers to India and surrounding countries; that being said, you might already know that Jews and Christians are a very small minority. The main religions in that region would be Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. This leads you to eliminate options "B" "C" and "D" because Jews are almost nonexistent there. And since Christians are a minority there as well, you can go ahead and eliminate the options listing them too, so not "E" either.

    I would definitely say the answer is A) Hindus and Muslims
