Since 1977, approximately 75 percent of the victims of those who have been executed were white. Death penalty or capital punishment is a penalty which was implemented to be legal in the US. The capital punishment which is also commonly known as the death penalty is a sanctioned practice in the government wherein a person is being punished through death for a certain crime that he committed.
