This can be best described as not layered and unsorted.

Layered and sorted characteristics can be seen more as a result of water borne sediment but when it comes to glacial moraines it is completely the opposite. Glacial moraines form when the layer of ice melts and drops its debris right there where it melts so the sediments are completely random.

Sediments found in glacial moraines are best described as unsorted and not layered. The sediments found in glacial moranies are referred to as glacier sediments. They are unsorted, unstratified, angular, and mixed rock types.

The glaciers can be alpine, valley and mountain glacier or continental glaciers (Antarctica and Greenland).
