The Schall v. Martin case happened in the year 1977 wherein Gregory Martin, who was fourteen years old, was arrested. His cases include criminal possession of weapon, first-degree robbery, and second-degree assault. In summary, this case made the Supreme Court decide that upon detention of these juveniles, this should not serve as a punishment before their trial.
