The answer is " Geneva Conference".

The Geneva Agreements were agreed upon in 1954. As a major aspect of the understanding, the French consented to pull back their army from northern Vietnam. Vietnam would be incidentally divided at the seventeenth parallel, pending decisions inside two years to pick a president and rejoin the nation.
