If the consequence that you predict from your hypothesis comes true, what follows from this? it logically follows that the hypothesis is true there is no support for the premises the conclusion must be false it provides some inductive support for the hypothesis

    If the consequences deducted from your hypothesis is true, this provides some inductive support for the hypothesis. Formally, the relationship is "If P, then Q" and "Q" (which is the consequence) therefore "Probably P". It definitely doe NOT mean that P is true even though one predicted event from P (namely Q) turns out to be confirmed. After all, the hypothesis might still be falsified when tested under different circumstances.
