If the exit sign near the office is broken, it is best to find an alternative route or a place that is safe enough that could prevent the individual from being harmed. It is the best option for if you try to break through the exit that no longer illuminates, it could take the individual's precious time and there is no guarantee that the disaster may occur again, it will only endanger the individual's life.
