The united states is rich because it is a democratic nation. is this statemenet true?

Unfortunately the answer is no or false in this case. Being democratic does not immediately mean the nation will get rich. US is so wealthy mainly because free market, skilled labor, good education just to name a few reasons. Though this is arguably easier to get in a democratic society.
