It is propose by Jean Piaget, that assimilation refers to a part of the adaptation, through this we take information or experiences and incorporate them in to our ideas that is existing. It is also adapting or adjusting to the group of culture or nation or even state. Assimilation is combining a single culture from the integration of two dissimilar cultures and comprising characteristics of both cultures.
