    The three D's of psychological disorders are as follows: 1) deviance 2) dysfunction 3) distress and 4) danger. 1) deviance is detected as young as 14 years and is characterised by recurrent intense sexually arousing fantasies, behaviours or urges. 2) dysfunction occurs when the patient is unable to carry out his daily life ... i. e jobs, day to day living 3) distress is based on the interpretation of the persons reaction and body symptoms to everyday life instances 4) danger is of 2 aspects to self and to others and is in continuation to distress
