In "the censors," why does juan take a job as a censor?

    Juan took the job as a censor So he can intercept his own letter.

    In that story, the Government would execute everyone that wrote a letter which violate their rules.

    Juan found out that one of the letter that he wrote violate the rules of the Government, so he took the job as a sensor to save his life and everyone that he care about
