The counselor should do in this type of situation is to be able to understand the client’s feelings regarding to his or her experience, in order to know what he or she must have been feeling and what he or she would like to open up about. In terms of the decisions of the client, it is best to respect what he or she decided regarding to the situation and support him or her if needed and if he or she is going against the offending professionalism, it is best not to take action and to be involved with the situation that the client is entering to.
