    Doug McAdam (writer of dozen of books and Sociology professor at Stanford university) explains that the internet makes it easy for new social movements to disseminate information broadly

    However, he also notes some drawbacks, including the fact that face to face is equal to the power of social movements and the movements which are electronically based are possibly not be able to take advantage to activate behavioral change from interpersonal relationship.
