    The growth of feminist communities.

Women’s rights activists formed their own communities in response to the failure of the Equal Right Act (ERA) this act was protested by Conservatives who believed giving men and women equal opportunities would ruin traditional gender roles. When the act failed to pass women formed their own businesses, houses and entire communities to support each other.
