How did parliament respond to the colonists protests against the Stamp act?

    They ended up repealing the Stamp Act.

    The Parliament repealed the Stamp Act. It was "nullified before it went into effect on March 18, 1766 under the Marquis of Rockingham". The colonists resent it because they "had not representation on the Taxation", they even considered the Proclamation of 1763 as an act of tyranny.
