When can a defense attorney legally break confidentiality according to the supreme court?

    I believe the answer is: If the attorney knows defendant is going to give false testimony

    According to Rule 3.3 of the Model Rules of Professional Responsibility, the American Bar Association, the attorney of the defendant wouldn't be legally liable to break confidentiality if the attorney for a fact that the defendant' testimonies are false.
