Globalization leads to a broader economic market place. While this can be good, because you have more buyers, it can and has been bad because of greater competition and the interconnected markets (when one does bad, it hurts everyone else). It can also hurt authority by bringing in new ideas that may be opposite of what those in charge have been striving toward. This can create instability and possibly lead to Revolution.
