What does jack do that causes roger to have doubt about his leadership?

    I believe the answer is: Jack ties Winfred up for no reason

    Jack's action indicates that he is too emotional if he faced a pressure which indicates He is not suitable to be a leader.

    Roger himself describe jack's behaviour as 'the act of savagery' because it's simply random and a form of violence without a purpose.
