    City states are basically the same as cities but they are large enough to be called states. So take New York City in New York State. A city state would be the two combined. Rivers, Mountains, and Deserts led to the rise of somewhat isolated city states.

    The characteristics of Sparta is as most people say WAR and Battle, they like strong fit men and women
