Lines of longitude are not parallel explain why?

    My thoughts are that since the Earth is round, can you ever have parallel longitude or latitude. I say no.

    Lines of latitude intersect at the north and south poles. Therefore, they cannot be parallel because they intersect. Lines of latitude are parallel because they will never intersect with each other.
