The Stoics taught that because of emotion the result in every judgment and decision is errors which were destructive, due to the active relationship between cosmic determinism and human freedom, and the belief that it is virtuous to maintain a will that is in accord with nature. While Neo-platonism is a term used to distribute the period of Platonic philosophy from the start with the work of Plotinus and from the start with the closing of the Platonic Academy by the Emperor Justinian in 529 C. E. Then the Epicureanism is founded around 307 BC, a system based upon the teachings of the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus.
