    The answer is If you live in the united states, then you live in Illinois.

    This conditional statement is false, because if you live in the United States you might live in Florida, Pennsylvania or Connecticut, or elsewhere, not necessarily in Illinois. The converse (reverse) of this statement is however, true. If the statement was the other way round, that is, "If you live in Illinois, then you live in the united states" it is a true conditional statement.
