What subculture are you a member of? why do you think your group is a?

    I favor cultural relativism. When I went to Iceland, I saw a stark cultural difference from our own. They are only aloud to name children off of a certain list, they have no surnames, and they eat some very ... interesting things. I realized that if I went into this trip, judging them for their apparent differences, they were stuck in the Dark Ages. As I learned more about the culture, I was able to see them more as a culture that wanted to keep their culture alive, they were already cut off from most of the world, they wanted to preserve culture. I have since learned that if I look from their perspective, they were doing a great job
