The Tuskegee Syphilis Study was a notorious clinical examination directed in the vicinity of 1932 and 1972 by the United States Public Health Service. The motivation behind this examination was to watch the common movement of untreated syphilis in rural African-American men in Alabama under the pretense of accepting free social insurance from the United States government.
