    Industrial jobs were mainly in the north, plus industrialization wouldn't happen where there is good farm land.

    Slavery was in fact needed to run the big plantations and to produce wheat, rice, tobacco, indigo, and silk

    Finally, Britain most likely had good trading benefits for Georgia since the state had very good resources and was plentiful of its supplies.
