In circumstances in which personal and professional obligations conflict, which set of obligations do you think should take precedence, and why

Actually life is always bigger than any profession, so personal obligations should taken care first with precedence over the professional obligations, the main reason being when a person suffers in personal problems, its difficult to come back or overcome or correct it, in future at a later stage in future, as the damage will be big both on mind, and life, but profession can be changed incase of any major problems, without much complication into another profession.
