A. People who do well on a test of one kind of intellectual ability generally do well on tests of other kinds also.

This is the answer because his theory was that people have a "general intelligence" which is the basis for their intellectual ability in all areas, which was based on the results that people who scored high on one kind of test generally did well on other types as well.
