Due to this decrease, the government is considering making gasoline-powered cars just as quiet.

It is impossible to get rid of gasoline-powered cars completely in favor of hybrid cars, but what the government can do is make these cars better so as to improve living conditions as well. If these cars are quieter, it will be better for your health too.
