    Cognitive dissonance most closely resembles an emotion or feeling of arousal

    Cognitive dissonance is associated with incosistent thought that happens when we held two contradictory belief.

    We displayed a similar thinking when we experience sexual arousal because a lot of situation that give it usually involve something taboo and exciting at the same time.
