Identify the main components of the nervous system and explain its three main functions.

Answer: The nervous system is comprised of neurons, or nerve cells. The nervous system collects information about the body's internal and external states, analyzes the collected information once it has reached the brain, and sends impulses out to initiate appropriate responses.

    The Nervous System has three major components, which are the Brain, The Spinal Cord and the Neurons. The Three Functions of the Nervous System are: First, It controls and coordinates different body functions. Second, It receives sensory impulses from sensory organs, which travels towards our brain, which makes our body react. Third, It balances the body through body coordination.
