    Since Chimpanzees, Apes, and even man are primates, I would say they are likely to be primatologist. Primatology is the scientific study of primates. Man is a primate but most primatologists study non-human primates in diverse fields including biology, anthropology and other areas of science. They work in various environments and fields. Some work in a zoo, and others in a research lab.
