Though both Celtic in origin, "The Wanderer" and "The Seafarer" express concepts common in Christianity. For instance, both include the concept of a clean soul. As well, both speak of the glory of the eternal afterlife and the existence of celestial beings such as angels. There are also elements of Christian dualism in each.
