According with this theory, our emotions are the product of physical arousal (biological process) and our thoughts (cognitive process). When exposed to a situation, we find a way to understand what we've just experienced. This is what Harley is experiencing. His physical reactions to the different experiences (test and dancing with a girl) have different cognitive labels (anxious and falling in love).
