    Soft power, is a term used in law or international relations to indicate that a state, prefers to use political, cultural, monetary sanctions, or diplomatic power, against another state, to achieve some kind of pressure or obtain what that it needs from another international actor, instead of using or applying coercive power, which refers to military and weapons resources, called hard power.
