Millennials, born between 1976 and 1996, are considered more socially and politically liberal. Social tolerance such as support for same-sex marriage and legalization of drugs as well as support for liberal economic policies are held by the majority of Millennials in surveys. It is thought that this generation, while often thought of as having a sense of entitlement and being narcissistic, will turn out to be more civic minded than previous generations.
