Actually in this scenario, Kimberly is using the defense mechanism of the neighbor bobs richness and capacity he has in the form of all fancy things, which would be shared by Kimberly and also another reason may be bob may be genuinenly worth and really good, but Kimberly would have misunderstood bob most of the times.
