How is The declaration of independence thought of as protest literature. Why is it protest literature?

    The Declaration of independence is thought of as protest literature because of its continuous objection to the british parliament and king george the third, which both is guilty of starving the colonials of their rights. They literally made a part of the Declaration of Independence just for telling what King George did wrong.
