    One of the explanations for the gender difference in the identification of learning disabilities is that boys have a greater biological vulnerability to learning disabilities. T here are no certainties about why boys seem to have more learning disabilities, however, there are theories which says that that the increased prevalence is due to a child’s biological vulnerability, maybe because they could be born with or acquire a tendency for a learning disability early in life.
