Is occupational licensure consistent with the basic principles and values of capitalism?

    No, it doesn't.

    Occupational licensure is the government regulation that require individuals to pass several test and obtain a liscense before doing certain practices.

    This is the oppostion of basic principle of capitalism that would let the free market decide and let individuals opened up whatever businesses they can.
