Approximately what portion of americans identify themselves as being part of an organized religion?

    Per information obtained in a 2014 study that was performed by Pew Research Center, just 70.6% of adults in the United States identify themselves as Christians. 46.5% state they regularly attend church services and would be considered Protestant. Just 20.8% of the population claim to be of the Catholic faith.
