    Martin luther-king believe wait-and-see approach toward equality would never really bring substantial changes because it basically prolong the condition where African American constantly received unequal treatment from the government.

    Because of this, he encouraged many members from the African American community to joined him in various forms of peaceful protests for equality of treatment for minorities.
