    I believe the answer is: c. States with the lowest per capita GDP tend to be in the South.

    Currently, the service industry is the largest contributors of united states Gross Domestic Product.

    Most of these service industry was established under a solid tech innovations, and most of these tech innovations was centred in the northern states.
