I Believe the answer is semantic system

semantic system revolves aroun our ability to distinguish comparison between different types of concept.

In this particular case, Louise still hasn't develop the ability to distinguish the concept of different meaning that drives from the same word, which make her falsely understood what 'shower' mean in that particular situation.
