Daniel shays felt that he had the right to be protected from debt and decline. why did he believe the government was obligated to provide this protection?

    Daniel Shays was a soldier who fought honorably in the American Revolutionary War. When he returned from that war he and many of his fellow veterans faced financial difficulties. Because of his unpaid service in the army he felt the government was obligated to protect him from the debts owed to various private businesses
