    I do not see a provided map. However, I was able to see that Lutheranism appears to be more dominant during this period. Lutheranism appears to dominate the Scandinavian countries while Calvinism appears to be prominent in Scotland and scattered areas in central Europe.

    The answer is it looks like Lutheranism was practiced and diffused into more populated area.

    Lutheranism was held by large empires such as the Roman empire and the Scandinavian nations. Calvinism on the other hand, only widely held in small unpopulated areas such as Scotland or Hungary,
