    The driest place on earth, known as "the atacama desert".

    The Atacama Desert refers to a driest dessert in the world which is a plateau in South America, which covers covering a distance of 1000 km strip of land on the Pacific coast, which is located on the west of the Andes mountains. Maximum of the desert is composed of stony terrain, salt lakes, sand, and felsic lava that runs towards the Andes.
