Why does marijuana present clear dangers to those driving motor vehicles (as well as others on the road) ?

Because although marijuana has very little negative effects on health certain strains of it can impair judgement. It is less dangerous to drive high then drunk since alcohol and marijuana have very different effects but marijuana can still impair your vision.
