    The term "gestalt" comes from German and translates form or figure, was introduced by the Austrian psychologist Christian von Ehrenfels, who is known as one of the precursors of the psychology of configuration or Gestalt psychology which emerged in Germany to early twentieth century, which seeks to identify the way in which people perceive a figure, based on different principles.

    Explanation:

    Gestalt psychology is based on principles such as closure, experience, simplicity, similarity and symmetry among others, with which it explains how the brain is conditioned when it perceives something and the reasoning by which people can perceiving objects and shapes differently, one of the most famous demonstrations is the Rubin vase, where some people notice two faces in profile and others a vase.
