a middle-aged man with no injuries who has rapid respirations and coughs

    Explanation:

The middle-aged man with no injuries who has rapid respiration and coughs should be taken to the hospital first as he may be suffering from smoke inhalation which could cause his lungs to be inflamed and lead to respiratory failure. He is more of a health risk. The child with a simple fracture and the pregnant woman are not in a life threatening situation. First degree burns is also not a life threatening situation, however, respiratory failure resulting from smoke inhalation can lead to death hence it is important for the middle aged man to be taken to the hospital first.
