Deanna wants to change her diet but has a hard time eating vegetables because she dislikes how they taste. She didn't grow up eating vegetables, but ate lots of pizza and fast food. What is the BEST advice you can give her regarding her dislike for vegetables?

    It is important for Deanna to include the 4 food groups into her diet. I advise Deanna to at-least try some. Allowing Deanna to continue eating junk, will most likely risk her health.

    Let Deanna set a goal for herself. Let her create a chart, a weekly chart. Every food she eats, will be put in the chart. Her expectations should be: getting rid of the junk foods and changing her diet. Let her include more greens, proteins, dairy, etc.

    If Deanna likes foods such as peanut-butter, that is an excellent choice for her proteins. Toast in the morning with peanut butter, and a side of fruits would be fantastic.

    A quick tip: if you allow Deanna to see junk foods, she will be interested in them. She'll most likely be uninterested on eating healthier foods. We know that junk foods can be delicious, but should not be abused on a daily basis. Distance Deanna away from the junk foods, and if Deanna must be forced, she must be forced.
